Having a passion for net-zero construction, ETA Construction is currently developing Montauk Woods, a home that will showcase and set the standard for green design.

This 5,000 sf home will utilize mineral wool insulation both inside and outside the walls and roof to minimize energy transfer and to protect occupants from off-gassing spray foam insulation.

On the south-facing gabled roof will sit a 20,000-watt solar array, making this one of the largest solar-producing homes in Montauk. The building utilizes heat recovery VRF heat pump technology which allows some of the spaces in the building to heat and others to cool simultaneously by utilizing waste heat from the extracted energy.

All of these green design elements allow the home to perform close to net-zero, with a HERS score below 5.
